Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango, we’re going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Shadow series cargo box. This is going to be your 11 cubic feet of cargo space, part number INBRA1170CA. It’s going to come in a nice carbon fiber finish. It’s going to be really easy to install with its quick fit feet. They go straight to the rubber seal here on the back side. Let’s go ahead and place it up on top of the vehicle.
Let’s see how it looks and how it fits. Go ahead and get it centered up. Once you’ve done so, go ahead and turn the key to the unlock position and press the button and then lift open the lid. Once you have the lid open, let’s go ahead and get our quick fit feet. Now, you see these, once you close the lid here, it will close up the claws or the feet below grabbing around whatever crossbar you’d choose to put it on. If you want to put it on your round bars, square bars, elliptical bars, even your factory crossbars like we have here, it’s going to be very easy to do so.
Simply just tighten it up to fit around whatever crossbar or loosen it up to fit around whatever crossbar you need to. Then just close the lid and tighten it around. If you choose to use it on the same crossbar all the time, it’s going to be very simple for you. You’ll have it on and off in a matter of seconds once they’re set, of course. Once we have that nice and tight, you can see how it goes around the crossbar like so, making it nice and secure. Let’s go ahead and get our next one and do the same thing.
Once we have that nice and tight, let’s go ahead and go over to the other side. I’ll close up this side making sure that it latches, locking and securing it. Once we’re over to the other side, we’ll place the key back in, turn it to the unlock position, press the button and open up. Then we’ll repeat the process with the feet. That’s going to be great for clearing out any kind of extra leg room, head room inside the vehicle but placing your luggage, your longer items, maybe your tents, lawn chairs, or just any kind of bulky items that you want to get out of the inside of the vehicle to clear up that leg room. All right, with that side nice and tight, go ahead and move to the next one.
Another nice thing about these feet is they’re going to have the tie downs. If you choose to place your cargo up in here, you’re going to have those included cargo straps. You’re going to have those real nice loops that you can run your cargo through to secure you cargo on the inside so it doesn’t bounce around. Once you got everything secured on the inside, go ahead and close it up, lock it and then we’ll move to the back of the vehicle to see what kind of clearance we have with our rear hatch. As you can see, you’re going to have plenty of room and space in between the hatch and the back side of the box. If you need to get in there, you can get in there with ease. Once you’ve gotten everything out, go ahead and close that up and you’re ready to hit the road with the all new Inno Shadow series cargo box, part number INBRA1170CA on our 2015 Dodge Durango.
